This sculpture is made from the remnants of a discarded radiator cutout, in the jutting shape of a river. The “River of Lethe” is the mythological river in Hell you drink from to forget your earthy troubles. Made in the wake of processing personal traumas in the height of the pandemic; this work travels into the internal landscape and how it informs our interactions with the world around us. There is a living river in all of us; a landscape of personal experiences formed by  the structures we build to survive our experiences.
